about

Many nights circa 2004-2005 after being in Manhattan museums all day the Madmen were either performing in seedy dive bars in downtown Manhattan or partying all night in Manhattan lofts, rooftops or galleries downtown. It was definitely a downtown thang, and they were getting down! Externally they appeared as ravenous, loaded, wild men drinking too much, smoking too much, dancing too much, screaming too much about gods, painters, writers, poets, musicians, everything too much... Internally though they were simply over flowing with enchantment of the arts and life and the scene and the esoteric and the ability to do exactly whatever whenever the hell they wanted to, no rules no regrets, youth and madness, seeking only to expand their ability to fufill their ambitions to effectively express their enchantment with existence! Or something like that.

Freestyled with Erick Waverly encouraging and conducting!
